COURAGE TO DEFEND CONSERVATIVE VALUES
Colorado does not need more Republicans who campaign one way and govern another. Voters in House District 44 already know what they believe. The problem is too many elected officials lose the courage to defend those values once they arrive at the Capitol.
Bob Davis is running to change that.
A retired LAPD Lieutenant and lifelong conservative, Bob is running to defend constitutional rights, stop government overreach, protect families, restore public safety, and fight the radical agenda pushing Colorado further out of reach for working families.
DEFEND THE SECOND AMENDMENT
Colorado has become a testing ground for gun control. Bob Davis will fight to stop it.
He supports Constitutional Carry, repeal of Colorado’s recent gun control laws including SB25-003, elimination of permit-to-purchase schemes, repeal of “red flag” confiscation laws, protection of due process rights, and restoration of statewide firearms preemption.
Bob believes constitutional rights are not government privileges. You do not need government permission to speak freely, practice your religion, or defend your family.
Unlike the current incumbent, Bob will not sponsor legislation that expands firearm restrictions or government monitoring of lawful gun owners.
PARENTS, NOT GOVERNMENT
Parents raise children. Government does not.
Bob opposes the growing effort to replace parental authority with government control in schools, healthcare, and social policy. He believes schools exist to educate children, not indoctrinate them.
He supports parental rights in education and healthcare decisions, opposes radical gender ideology being imposed on children, and supports protecting girls’ sports and private spaces.
Bob also opposes expanding government-run programs inside schools that bypass families and weaken parental involvement.
SECURE THE BORDER. END SANCTUARY POLICIES.
A nation without borders is not a nation.
Bob Davis supports enforcing immigration law, ending sanctuary policies, and prioritizing law-abiding citizens over people here illegaly.
He believes Colorado’s sanctuary policies undermine public safety, weaken respect for the law, and force taxpayers to absorb the consequences of failed political decisions.
Bob also opposes in-state tuition subsidies and taxpayer-funded benefits for those in the country illegally.
STOP GOVERNMENT OVERREACH
Colorado government has grown too large, too expensive, and too intrusive.
Bob supports cutting regulations, exposing wasteful spending, auditing government agencies, and restoring accountability to taxpayers.
He supports a Colorado version of DOGE-style oversight to uncover fraud, eliminate bureaucratic waste, and rein in agencies that continue expanding while delivering worse results.
Bob also believes taxes disguised as “fees” are still taxes and should require voter approval under the spirit of TABOR (Taxpayer Bill of Rights).
PUBLIC SAFETY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT
Weak-on-crime policies have made Colorado less safe.
After a 31-year career with the Los Angeles Police Department, Bob Davis understands what happens when politicians stop supporting law enforcement and start making excuses for criminals.
Bob supports stronger penalties for violent offenders, restoring accountability in the justice system, and ending policies that put ideology ahead of public safety.
He also supports restoring the death penalty for the most horrific crimes and opposes legislation that undermines law enforcement or weakens criminal prosecution.
PROTECT FREE SPEECH AND RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
The First Amendment matters just as much as the Second.
Bob opposes compelled speech, censorship, government pressure campaigns against political viewpoints, and attacks on religious freedom.
He believes Americans should never be forced to violate their religious beliefs or compelled to adopt government-approved ideology to participate in public life.
LOWER COSTS. CHEAPER ENERGY. LESS GOVERNMENT.
Colorado families are being crushed by rising costs while government spending explodes.
Bob supports affordable and reliable energy production, including expansion of domestic energy and nuclear power, instead of forcing expensive “green” mandates onto working families.
He also supports property tax reform, reducing unnecessary fees, and restoring fiscal discipline at the Capitol.
Government should live within its means just like families do.
ELECTION INTEGRITY
Voters deserve confidence in elections.
Bob supports voter ID, clean voter rolls, paper ballots, and stronger election security measures to ensure every legal vote counts and public trust is restored.
A CONSERVATIVE WHO WILL NOT COMPROMISE AWAY YOUR VALUES
This primary is a choice between the “go along to get along” politics Colorado Republicans are tired of…or a conservative who will stand firm when it matters.
Bob Davis will not vote for Democrat leadership.
He will not compromise away constitutional rights.

And he will not forget why voters sent him to Denver in the first place.
